Feb 01, 2008 :
We started shipping gigEnn-T3 systems

gigEnn-T3 is gold colored enclosure
and about 1" wider than nn-plus

  • More Status Explanations

    • Upgrading old NN-Plus and NN-Minus to gigEnn

    • we have added additional wansim features in our new mini-itx and rackmount based gigEnn ( 1000Mbit/sec ) product line

    • we will have a replacement of the NN-plus with our new gigEnn-T3 ( 45Mbit/s ) model around Oct/Nov timeframe when the brand new "LX" cpu and motherboard replacements is readily available

    • We are providing beta-testing discounts ( about 1/3 off ) for those willing to use the new off-the-shelf mini-itx based gigEnn wansims

    • For a limited time, we will provide you a 50% credit of your purchase price paid for the NN-Plus and NN-Minus against the new gigEnn models

    • Unfortunately, there is no way to upgrade the existing NN-Plus/NN-Minus to gigE speeds with it's 10/100 nic hardware

    • If you're willing to buy a refurbished system, we can offer you an additional $100 discount

    • The wansims are returned for various reasons and are optionally sold with 6month warranty

    • Our failure rates seems to be under 1% for these wansims,
and slightly higher failure rates for the edac power adaptors
and the upgraded power adaptor seem to be less susceptible to problems

    • Feb 02 .. We are out of stock of the NN-plus and NN-minus

    • Feb 01 .. We will be shipping the new gigEnn-T3

    • Jan 11 .. We still have a handful of NN-plus in Stock
      • this is it .. there is no more NN-plus motherboards anywhere

    • Nov 07 .. In Stock .. about 2 month's of inventory
      • this is it .. no more after Dec 31 .. end-of-line for nn-plu & nn-minus ..

    • Sep and Oct, Another Supplier
      • We were able to order and receive more of these motherboards
      • We do not know of any motherboard distributors that carries an inventory

    • Jul 30 and Aug 15, Another Supplier
      • We were able to order and receive more of these motherboards from another source and the regular clear aluminum enclosures

    • Jun 28, Another Supplier
      • We were able to order and receive more of these motherboards from another source, but with red enclosures only

    • Jun 18, Enclosure Color Options
      • we have just a handful of the standard clear aluminum enclosures.
        Other options are:
      • we will start using our custom "gold colored" custom enclosures
        -- or --
      • we can get lots of "red" enclosures instead of clear aluminum colored enclosures
        -- or --
      • we can also get some "black" instead of aluminum colored enclosures

    • On May 23, we were unexpectedly notified by our distributors, that we can pick up new batch of motherboards, therefore, we now have enough inventory for around 2 months again.

      • the motherboards was in their warehouse for less than 6 hrs before we picked it up :-)

    • on May 22, we sent all of our RMA'd wansims for testing by the manufacturer's diagnostics
      • Jun 5, 8 of 10 returned units came back as 100% functional per manufacturers diagnostics

      • these 8 systems are available as refurbished systems ( $100 additional discount )

    • as of May 21, we are basically sold out

    • as of May 13, we have a few days worth inventory at the current shipment schedule

    • as of Apr 30, we have about 3 weeks of inventory at the current shipment schedule

    • as of Mar 25, we have about 6 weeks of inventory at the current shipment schedule

    • Please note, around Feb 2007, that these motherboards have been discontinued by it's manufacturer, and thusly, are subject to our remaining inventory.

    • Unfortunately, the CPU, AMD's Geode SC1100, used in these NetworkNightmare systems has been discontinued

    • the availability of the motherboards would therefore fluctuate per gray market conditions
